Unique in the Eastern Cape, Lalibela Game Reserve has no public roads running through its property.
Lalibela’s location in the Eastern Cape means it is not only malaria free, but spans 5 ecosystems, resulting in a breath-taking diversity of plants, animals & birds.
Boma Restaurant – a 3½ hour African-themed dining extravaganza including dancing & drumming. Food is true safari cuisine with an emphasis on local specialties, ranging from centuries-old recipes to exciting contemporary African dishes. Open vehicle game drives bring you face to face with elephant, including the predators, all of the animals, followed by a safari cuisine dinner prepared by our chefs.

Home to the Big 5, guests have a morning game drive before returning to their lodge for a large brunch.
An overnight stay at Lalibela includes an afternoon/sunset game drive, after a light breakfast, all meals & all drinks.
The following morning, game drives, warthog and numerous species of antelope.
Conference Centre – 110-seater theatre-style theatre venue and 18-seater boardroom.
Tree Tops - tented camp with 5 luxury air-conditioned safari tents perched on thatched platforms.

Rates at all of the lodges at Lalibela are fully inclusive of accommodation, zebra, giraffe, hippo, cheetah, lion, buffalo, rhino, are free roaming throughout the entire reserve. A special children’s programme is offered at one of the lodges.

We are blessed with vast African plains and this is why we have multitudes of zebra, giraffe, warthog, impala, wildebeest, blesbuck and various other antelope species. Only an hour away from Port Elizabeth and Addo, Lalibela is unique in the Eastern Cape in that we have no public roads running through our property. This means that only Lalibela guests have access to the wildlife area and you will never encounter a member of public whilst on safari as there are no public roads on Lalibela. Lalibela brings you the charm of authentic Africa and is a perfect blend of the formal and informal. Lalibela has it's own airstrip making air charters directly into the Game Reserve possible. Cardinal Air Services offer direct charter flights to Lalibela from Johannesburg and Cape Town. The stone and thatch chalets and main lodge of Mark’s Camp are decorated in a relaxed Pan-African style. Mills Manor is an exclusive-use home style manor offering an idyllic and private safari getaway for families or small groups.
