Momento's of Africa started as an upliftment weaving scheme in the early 1990, however after appartied ended the scheme was stopped. These brands are babymo, babymocreed and capetweed. Today Momento's of Africa has developed 3 brands to be sold to International and local clients. This shop went onto a factory and re-employment of around 70 workers who lost there jobs when the scheme was stopped. However the scheme got a life line through ACSA and was allowed to open a shop in the PE airport. Today Momento's of Africa is a top mohair product manufacturer that is world renowned.
