Kim is Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Director of Investec Asset Management. She joined the firm in 1993 as its Chief Financial Officer and has successfully managed the operational and financial growth of the business. Kim has been awarded Business Woman of the Year in South Africa. A key part of our investment approach is respecting the freedom to create. As Co-Chief Investment Officer, John holds joint responsibility for managing the investment teams. He is also a Director of Investec Asset Management and a member of the Global Executive Committee. Since joining the firm in 1995, he has been instrumental in the development of the firm’s investment infrastructure. John has managed both South African and international retail funds as well as institutional portfolios. He contributes research, equity analysis and insight to the firm’s investment teams. It takes 25 years to create a lasting investment capability. As Co-Chief Investment Officer, Domenico holds joint responsibility for managing the investment teams. Domenico is based in the United Kingdom and is a member of the Global Executive Committee. He joined the company in 1992 as one of the founding members. Domenico has held various positions including chief dealer, portfolio manager and managing director of the South African institutional business. Fundamentally it’s about clients trusting us with their money. As Global Head of Client Group, John is responsible for the firm’s client-related activity. This includes sales, client management and marketing. He is also a member of the firm’s Global Executive Committee. John joined the firm in 2001 as Head of Personal Investments, South Africa. He then went on to become Managing Director of the South African business in 2004, before becoming Global Head of Client Group in We’ve always said that if you look after your clients, your bottom line should look after itself.
