From young boys keen to build their own planes, to middle aged men wanting to relive their childhood memories and even the elderly grandpa’s who are eager to keep their hands busy and their minds occupied, it’s a hobbyists playground. University students can find Copic markers; metal rulers; scale rulers, set square and protractors, fine liners, Flip Files and much more for projects and models. Then Derwent Studio pencils are just the range for you! You will find they have the same colour strip as the Derwent Artists range but are a lot finer, perfect for more detailed work, particularly illustrations. The barrel is hexagonal rather than round, like the Artists pencils, so you can get a really good grip when getting down to the tricky bits! They’re water-soluble too so you can have great fun experimenting with interesting wash effects. Dala Deco varnish is a pure acrylic, water based varnish that provides a non-yellowing matt finish to all decoupage projects. New acrylic resin technology has enabled us to manufacture a water-based, entry-level varnish that outperforms all of its predecessors. Dala Transfer Glaze is a highly adhesive and elastic glaze that has been specifically designed to turn paper images into thin flexible plastic transfers. This allows the crafter to work neatly and efficiently on severely curved surfaces. It is also used as the base coat to Dala Crackling. This is a quick-drying, mineral based transparent sealant/varnish which is easy to apply and virtually odourless. This product can even be used on large surfaces such as doors and walls. It sets to a high-build, ultra-gloss finish which is absolutely breathtaking!This one coat, non shrinking, impact resistant product is also cigarette burn and alcohol resistant. The number one, all in one, glue, sealer and varnish. Podge can be used to bond serviettes to wood, tiles, tin, brick, stone, wax candles, soap etc. In the process of decoupage, it is this high viscosity glaze that ultimately determines the quality of the décopeurs work.
