MSB is an independent short term insurance policy administrator focused on providing various short term insurance products backed by above average service to our existing and future clients by representing most of the larger insurance companies in South Africa.
Our main focus area is firstly to supply a back office administration system for various larger brokerages and underwriting managers and secondly to supply a marketing platform to supply smaller brokerages and agents.

MSB is an Insurance Underwriting Management Agency, specialising in providing administrative support to the small to medium brokerage. Established in 1989, MSB has been offering short-term insurance solutions to brokers all over South Africa since MSB started out as a short term insurance brokerage during 1989 under the current management and through the years evolved into an administrator providing products and services to brokers. Initially MSB was contracted to all major short term insurers but gradually changed over to a single insurer services provider. The relationship MSB currently have with Mutual & Federal Insurance is the cornerstone of our success and probably our biggest asset. Making use of tried and tested systems like System A provided by TIAL as our underwriting platform and EPIC as our collection agency ensures that we run a smooth operation for the benefit of our brokers and their clients. Our staff is another big asset in the organisation and we consider them as important as clients. Although it is important in our industry to place growth high on our list of priorities, our core value of fast efficient service with integrity will never be compromised. All of this is backed up by our service which can be compared to the best. Emergency and roadside assistance after hours including claims processing. Getting to know the industry from a marketing perspective in the past and now acting on behalf of the insurer has enabled us to fully understand the complete picture when it comes to service delivery. Our recently developed commercial underwriting and quotation tool will give our brokers a huge advantage when it comes to doing business in the SME market. Together with senior management of the insurer we also assist the broker when it comes to matters involving larger insurance risks such as underwriting and presentations. MSB is registered with the Financial Services Board as a Short Term Insurance Administrator, although our contracts with the Insurer and way of doing business, is that of a Generalist Underwriting Management Agency.
