Lance is a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) and is certified with the Environmental Assessment Practitioners of South Africa. in Environmental Science (both from the University of Cape Town). Monique is a Professional Engineer and holds a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Stellenbosch University and a MSc from the University of Cape Town. She has expert knowledge on electrical grids and leverages this knowledge in new development opportunities. in Estuarine Ecology from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University and a MBA with a sustainability focus from Rhodes University. He is a certified Professional Natural Scientist (ecology) with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions. He is based in the Port Elizabeth office with specific focus on permitting, site analysis and the environmental elements of the projects. Christelle has a Bachelor in Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch. She is responsible for office management and is personal assistant to the directors of Red Cap. We have successfully developed the Kouga Wind Farm (80MW) and the Gibson Bay Wind Farm (111MW), both in the Kouga Municipality in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, and are expanding our wind portfolio in partnership with Enel Green Power in Southern Africa. In terms of sustainability, we aim to have a positive impact on both the environment and communities in which we are active, as seen during the development of the Kouga Wind Farm and Gibson Bay Wind Farm, where we pioneered large-scale community ownership. In addition, we proactively engaged with the Endangered Wildlife Trust, Bird Life South Africa, The St Francis Kromme Trust and other wind farms in the areas to start the Greater Kromme Stewardship initiative.
