Growing up on a farm, Christopher was always surrounded by avid members of the riding community, and recognized an opening in the market for high quality, affordable equestrian apparel. After sourcing manufacturers both locally and internationally, the first product line went into production at the end of 2005, and a brand was born! Over the last 5 years, the company profile and product range has grown from strength to strength, with the Blue Steel logo making a regular appearance on the local and national equestrian scene. We were also one of the main sponsors of the Equestrian World Cup hosted in Port Elizabeth in Based in Port Elizabeth, we consign products to our nation-wide reseller network, as well as to local suppliers. Amy and her mom Tanja have a long association with the equestrian world. Tanja is a Course Designer as well as giving of her time to sit on the executive committee of the East Cape Showjumping Committee. Amy has been riding since a very young age and has represented Eastern Province for many years. The Fabric is lovely and soft which creates a very comfortable fit and allows your horse to wear it with ease. Comes in a lovely Navy color with small white stars. Includes Belly Straps and buckles for the front and neck. The neck piece has a lycra insert which allows for your horses comfort and ease of movement. This sheet also has fillet straps and is a very good fitting sheet. Lycra Hoodie has a zip closure which is easy to use as well as an easy and comfortable surcingle and loop for fastening. These hoodies are great for keeping your horse clean and your plaits neat and tidy. Cold Water Boots are full of micro-crystals which turn into a gel when they are soaked in water. The boot is designed in a way which allows the horse to walk around whilst having the boot on. These boots are used to reduce swelling, cooling tendons after exercise or treating injuries. Boots should be soaked in cold water and for extra cold treatment, the boots can be placed in ice, ice water or even the fridge.
